Wendy delivers commercialization workshop at Federal Laboratory Consortium (FLC) Conference in Portland, Oregon.

Wendy returns to the FLC Annual Meeting again this year to deliver a commercialization workshop for Intermediate level technology transfer professionals.  Participants to the workshop will include federal scientists and engineers along with technology transfer professionals.  More information about the FLC Annual Meeting is available here.

Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) hosts commercialization training program to support innovation and economic development goals.

ACOA will host two-one day workshops to enhance the commercialization support system for program managers and clients.  The workshops will be hosted in Moncton, New Brunswick and St. John's, Newfoundland and will focus on providing a library of tools and approaches to discover the commercial potential of science and technology inventions.

Irish incubators adopt So what? who cares? why you? for entrepreneurship programs

Two incubators based in Ireland, The Enterprise Acceleration Centre in Limerick and the Novation Center in Dundalk, have adopted So what? who cares? why you? as their primary resource tool for two entrepreneurship programmes.  EnterpriseSTART, a six-week training programme and the Novation Enterprise Platform Programme, which is aimed at committed entrepreneurs and runs over one year.  These programmes will use So what? who cares? why you?: The Inventor's Commercialization Toolkit to train and coach entrepreneurs through the key business building elements.
