Alberta Entrepreneurs Capture $60,000 in Seed Funding
Just eight weeks after participating in a day-long commercialization and business planning clinic using the So what? who cares? why you?® commercialization system, six teams of Alberta entrepreneurs have already translated their value propositions into seed money grants valued up to $10,000 each. Northern Alberta Business Incubator (NABI) Managing Director Dar Schwanbeck decided to use the commercialization tools fresh from his two-day coaching certification session with Wendy.

SpringBoard West's Venture Runways Takes Flight
SpringBoard West Innovations was founded four years ago to foster the development of technology-based businesses in Saskatchewan. Initially, SpringBoard West focused on providing 1:1 advisory services to each client throughout the incubation process, from idea to launch. But as the business expanded, the company needed to find a way to create a more turnkey approach that could help a larger number of innovators get their ideas past the early stages of commercialization. They turned to So what? who cares? why you?® to formalize a "pre-incubation" program for very early stage ideas.

West Texas A&M University Enterprise Center Launches Pre-incubation Service with So what? who cares? why you?
The Amarillo-based WTAMU Enterprise Center announces the launch of a new pre-incubation coaching service using So what? who cares? why you? as the platform. Enterprise Center co-founder David Terry plans to fill a much-needed gap for early-stage founders who need to develop the value proposition and market potential for their ideas. He and three of the center's advisors attended the Fort Worth session of the So what who cares? why you? Certified Coach program to jumpstart the project.

Now in its fourth year, the Purdue Entrepreneurship Academy brings together high school students from across Indiana to take part in an on-campus youth entrepreneurship program. This program focuses on students showing achievement in science, math or technology and exposing them to the world of entrepreneurship and commercialization.
So what? who cares? why you? has been the training platform for the program since its inception and again this year, Wendy will return to the Purdue Research Park to work with students in an interactive workshop program to assist them in translating scientific ideas into value propositions for investors.
