Wendy Kennedy is in Vancouver this week delivering a one-day commercialization workshop for the technology partnering officers of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada. Members of the consulate offices from the USA and Canada are gathered to learn tools and approaches to assist Canadian firms in their pursuit of commercialization partnerships with USA firms.
September 29, 2007 So what? who cares? why you? travels to Ireland
Wendy Kennedy and So what? who cares? why you? are in Dublin, Ireland meeting with incubation center managers from around the country. These managers will participate in a one-day workshop to learn the power of the methodology for coaching early stage entrepreneurs. Wendy will also travel to the Dundalk Institute of Technology to deliver a keynote address as part of the launch of the Student Entrepreneurship Intern Programme.

The workbook and online resource materials are helping staff to educate and prepare startups to accelerate and launch their businesses.TechFortWorth engages with startup companies that have based their businesses on proprietary technology they have developed or acquired. TECH Fort Worth is a public-private partnership of the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, The City of Fort Worth, and the Fort Worth business community.

May 4, 2007 Wendy Kennedy delivers keynote address at Innoventure 2007, Hershey Medical Center.
Nationally known speaker and author Wendy Kennedy is the keynote speaker at Innoventure2007 May 4 at Hershey Lodge. Innoventure is a biennial exposition that brings researchers, the business community and government officials together.
Kennedy, author of the book, "So what? who cares? why you?," will discuss communication skills for scientists and entrepreneurs seeking support for their work.
Kennedy applies her business school faculty and technology industry executive background to teaching others, especially scientists and engineers, how to express their goals in ways that resonate with investors and supporters. Her message is relevant whether one is speaking to a business investor, a foundation or a multidisciplinary grant review panel.
More than 150 scientific, educational, business and business support exhibitors, including Penn State, Penn State College of Medicine and Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, will display their work and their services at Innoventure2007. Researchers and entrepreneurs use Innoventure to explain their work to a wide audience and to look for collaborative opportunities in the region.
The exposition also includes a specially-designed program to enable selected high school students to explore careers in science and technology.
