So what? who cares? why you?® Certified Coaches are empowered to coach and guide early-stage science/technology inventors and entrepreneurs to use the So what? who cares? why you?® system to articulate the business value of their innovations and ideas.

Who It's For
The Certified Coach program is open to individuals – such as advisors and counsellors – who work with early-stage science/technology scientists, researchers and entrepreneurs. Certified Coaches work in settings such as:

• Incubation Centers
• Enterprise Development Centers
• Technology Transfer Offices
• Economic Development Offices
• University Commercialization Offices
• Technology Entrepreneurship Organizations

Expert Training & Certification
The Certified Coach Program gives you comprehensive hands-on training and practice, a rich suite of support materials, and subsequent monthly telecoaching by Wendy Kennedy.

Training
Coaches must attend the two-day training workshop in the first year and the renew their certification in following years through six online training classes.

Two-Day Interactive Workshop
During the two-day in-person training program, participants will:

• Gain hands-on practice applying the So what? who cares? why you?® system.
• Learn how to engage entrepreneurs, researchers and technology entrepreneurs to deploy the toolsets to their science- and technology-based innovations.
• Learn best practices, tips, and techniques to achieve results using the So what? who cares? why you?® toolkit system.
• Learn to use the supporting coaching materials and resources – such as worksheets, dry-erase boards, and the private online coaching resource area – to extend the value of program execution.
• Walk away with a step-by-step coaching guide, materials and resources ready to deploy the So what? who cares? why you?® Coaching Clinic Program

Online Training
Certification is renewed on an annual basis. Annual recertification requires the completion of six one-hour online workshops per year with wendykennedy.com inc. Individuals who wish to be certified as a "Master Facilitator" can complete 10 online classes and pass a formal coaching presentation to wendykennedy.com inc.

Coaching Certification
Certified Coaches who have successfully completed the training program are qualified to use the So what? who cares? why you?® system and materials. A monthly subscription fee provides Certified Coaches with access to a full suite of coaching resource materials, including:

1. Facilitator toolkit reference guide – a pocket reference guide for coaches to carry with them when they are in the field working with inventors and entrepreneurs. It includes step by step guidance, tool tips, and client facilitation techniques to bring So what? who cares? why you? to life.
   
2. Monthly teleconference support with Wendy Kennedy and other coaches and advisors (one hour each month) – to share coaching best practices and learn from the global community.
   
3. Access to the Private Online Support Center – continually updated with new coaching templates, tools, audio tutorials on toolsets, and more to equip coaches to successfully deploy the methodology.
   
4. Preferred-customer pricing on So what? who cares? why you?® products – including the commercialization toolkit book, dry-erase coaching posters, coaching primers, sketch pads, worksheet workbooks and more.
