Summary
Wendy Kennedy has established a successful 20+ year career as a Business School Professor, senior management executive, advisor, and entrepreneur.
Wendy is best known as an entrepreneurial professor. She began her career in operational roles with early stage technology companies before being recruited to a faculty position at Algonquin College. During her 13 year tenure as Professor, Wendy launched several initiatives for the technology industry aimed at equipping early stage companies with business tools to successfully grow their companies. She was the recipient of the Dr. Laurent Isabelle Award for innovation and excellence as an educator.
Since moving on from her career as a Professor, Wendy has held several executive positions with Reid Eddison Inc., QNX Software, and AssetMetrix Inc. Wendy has also founded two companies of her own, The Muddy Paw Company and wendykennedy.com inc.
Wendy is a graduate of Queen's University and holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration. She is an advisory board member for CATA's-Women in Technology "WIT"-Forum and past Chair of Zone5ive, a local technology marketing forum. She serves as an advisor to several early stage businesses.

As virtual VP Marketing, Wendy assists one of Canada's Top 25 Technology Up & Comers in business strategy development as well as strategic marketing. In addition to helping define the company's strategy she also leads the marketing strategy and program development.
AssetMetrix Inc.
At this start up company, Wendy was instrumental in defining the core value proposition, messaging, marketing strategy and priorities for the company's hosted corporate asset management service.
QNX Software Ltd.
Wendy defined QNX's customer segment priorities and marketing strategies for three distinct vertical segments for real-time operating system software, including: telecommunications/networking, automotive telematics and medical instrumentation.
Reid Eddison Inc.
As a partner in one of Canada's premier business mentoring firms for growing technology businesses, Wendy worked globally with entrepreneurs to help shape their business propositions and marketing strategies.
Algonquin College
In 1987, Wendy was recruited to the faculty of Business and pursued a successful 13 year career as a professor. She worked extensively with the technology industry offering customized professional development programs in addition to her full-time academic role. She was the recipient of the Dr. Laurent Isabelle Award for innovation and excellence as an educator in recognition of her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to education.
